In 2012, Canada will begin issuing electronic passports, or ePassports, to all its citizens. Under the User Fees Act, federal government departments must consult Canadians before changing their services or fees. So before it launches the new and improved passport, Passport Canada is holding public consultations.
Our main consultations tool, an online questionnaire, was very successful. Between its launch date on April 6, 2010 and its closing date on May 7, 2010, more than 7000 people submitted a questionnaire. More...
